RULES & RELEASE AGREEMENT

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Participation in the Wylde Fire Challenge ("Challenge") at The Salisbury Center is subject to the rules outlined below. By signing this document, participants acknowledge and accept all terms, including those related to safety, eligibility, photography, and liability. This is a skill-based competition where winners are determined by their ability to complete the challenge, not by chance or luck.

ELIGIBILITY:

Participants must be 14 years or older. Those under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present and must have a signed consent and release form.

ALL PARTICIPANTS (OR THEIR PARENT/GUARDIAN IF A MINOR) MUST SIGN A WAIVER AND RELEASE FORM TO PARTICIPATE.

ENTRY FEE: $5 (plus tax)

Each registered participant will receive:

• Three (3) Wylde Fire Chicken Tenders (one per round)
• One (1) official challenge sweatband (must be worn during the competition)
• One (1) cup of vanilla ice cream for post-challenge relief

PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE:

Photographers and videographers will be capturing the event. By signing this agreement, you grant The Salisbury Center the right to use your name, image, and likeness in promotional materials including but not limited to social media, advertising, and video content. All media becomes the property of The Salisbury Center.

CHALLENGE FORMAT:

The Challenge includes three (3) escalating rounds. Participants must wear headband and  consume one Wylde Fire Challenge spicy chicken tender per round under timed conditions. A 30-second break will be given between rounds. Timing will be managed by Salisbury Center staff.

1. Round 1: 2 minutes to finish one (1) Wylde Fire “Honky Tonk Heat” spicy chicken tender – Level 1 Heat
2. Round 2: 3 minutes to finish one (1) Wylde Fire “Smoky Mountain Burn” spicy chicken tender – Level 2 Heat
3. Round 3: 4 minutes to finish one (1) Wylde Fire “Hellbilly Inferno” spicy chicken tender – Level 3 Heat

OFFICIAL RULES:

• No beverages or bathroom breaks allowed during the entire challenge (including breaks between rounds).
• Utensils and gloves will be provided. The challenge includes extremely spicy ingredients. Contact with eyes or face is strongly discouraged.
• No outside food, condiments, sauces, napkins, or dips may be used during the challenge. Tissue will be available for wiping tears only.
• You must wait until the end of each round’s time limit to move on or qualify as a winner.
• Vomiting or regurgitation results in immediate disqualification.

Complete Round 1: Advance to Round 2

Complete Round 2: Advance to Round 3

Complete Round 3: Win a limited edition “Wylde Fire Challenge” t-shirt, and a digital image feature on our Wylde Fire Challenge Hall of Fame online.
