Heroes On The Mat is a submission grappling event exclusive to law enforcement and first responders. Our goal is to raise the awareness of the need for submission grappling martial arts (including but not limited to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling and sambo) in a competition setting.

Heroes on the Mat make its DC Metro Area Premier at The Salisbury Center in Manassas, VA on Sunday, June 28, 2025 for Heroes on the Mat 8. Enjoy an action-packed evening of Submission Grappling action featuring the region’s top military, law enforcement and first responders Jiu Jitsu practitioners along with unparalleled, Vegas-style light, sound and video production.
